We are aware that some people will be taking part in Ramadan and Eid in the next couple of months and it's important to note that medication can still be taken during this time.

The holy month of Ramadan is expected to start on the evening of Friday 28 February or Saturday 1 March, depending on the sighting of the moon.

The National NHS Muslim Network has released Ramadan and Eid Guidance 2025. You can also find out how this period of fasting may impact staff health and wellbeing, and access guidance to help support Muslim colleagues in the workplace.
