LEVEL ' Solo' Film Screening

Solo Website Image 1

A vibrant, emotional journey through love, identity, and the cost of connection.

Solo tells the powerful story of Simon, an emerging Montreal drag artist navigating two impossible loves – a passionate yet destructive relationship with Oliver and a cold, complicated bond with his mother, who reappears after 15 years away.

Colourful, raw, and deeply human, Solo is a film that celebrates drag while exploring the heartbreak of toxic relationships and the struggle to love – and be loved – without losing yourself.

Wednesday 26 November at 7pm – Hebden Bridge Picture House

This free screening is presented by LEVEL, a new, community-informed programme supporting LGBTQ+ people who are causing harm in intimate relationships. Find out more about LEVEL.

LEVEL offers a 22-week, one-to-one intervention for behaviour change, alongside dedicated support for current and former partners affected by harm. Abuse can happen in all relationships, and that support must be relevant and inclusive. LEVEL is about balancing the scales – recognising harm, supporting growth, and helping build healthier, safer relationships in LGBTQ+ communities.

The screening will include an opportunity to meet the LEVEL team, discuss the themes raised by the film, and find out more about the programme.

Please note there is a 50p booking fee
