Learn Together! For parents/carers of trans and gender questioning children
A safe space to learn alongside other parents and carers how to best support and affirm your trans or gender-questioning child
A 6 week course designed to give parents/carers of trans and gender-questioning children and young people the knowledge, tools and confidence to best support their child. We will cover everything from words and what it all means, to pronouns; from transitioning, to your child’s rights in school.
The group will be an informal and relaxed space to learn alongside other parents and carers who are on the same journey. It is a safe space for you to voice concerns and get answers to any questions you may have. There will also be an opportunity to join regular parent/carer meet-ups facilitated by The Brunswick Centre.
The learning group sessions will be held at a central Huddersfield location. Details will be shared once a sign-up form has been completed.
