Launching Well Proud - A new LGBTQ+ Wellbeing Campaign

The Brunswick Centre Launches ‘Well Proud’ – A Bold New LGBTQ+ Health and Wellbeing Campaign
The Brunswick Centre is proud to launch Well Proud, its latest campaign promoting LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing across Calderdale and Kirklees.
This wide-reaching initiative aims to connect LGBTQ+ individuals with inclusive, tailored support that helps them feel great, live well, and be proud of who they are.
Well Proud acts as an umbrella campaign, bringing together a range of existing and new projects, services, and campaigns delivered by The Brunswick Centre—many in partnership with other organisations. By uniting these initiatives under one vibrant and accessible banner, Well Proud will boost visibility and engagement with essential services, all with a strong focus on health, wellbeing, and community connection.
Key services offered through the campaign include:
- Substance Use Support – Help to stop smoking, moderate alcohol use, and reduce drug-related harm.
- Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing – Access to counselling and emotional support.
- HIV Prevention & Support – Up-to-date information on prevention and support for those living with HIV.
- Health Screenings – Promotion and support for regular health checks, including cancer screening.
- Safe Spaces – Support for creating and sustaining inclusive, welcoming environments.
- Additional Resources – A wide range of services to support LGBTQ+ individuals in living well.
