Brunswick takes on RED RUN 2026

RED RUN brings together people from across the UK to run or walk 5K or 10K in support of HIV charities and services.

Jess and Chris are aiming to raise £800 for the Brunswick HIV Welfare Fund, which provides financial support to people living with HIV who are experiencing financial hardship.

Our welfare fund provides financial support to service users facing financial hardship. It offers recurring periodic payments to people living with HIV who have no income at all, as well as emergency assistance on an ad hoc basis for those facing an immediate crisis such as being unable to afford food or essential household utilities.

The welfare fund also supports our personal hygiene provision, providing hygiene and sanitary products on a reoccurring basis, in an effort to relieve an element of financial hardship and meet a basic need we all deserve. 

The fund is designed to provide support quickly and flexibly, without the lengthy application processes or extensive evidence requirements often associated with other comparable sources of financial assistance. This means we can respond to emergencies within the timeframe necessary to ensure that people living with HIV are not left without the essentials.

The welfare fund relies entirely on small grants and donations.
