Harry Duggan (They/Them)

Harry is a trans non-binary and Queer, soon to be masters graduate and researcher in psychology at the University of Huddersfield. Alongside their masters, they work full time for a local authority ensuring that youth voice is represented throughout strategic decision making and co-chair the local authorities' LGBTQ+ Employee Network, representing LGBTQ+ voice internally and representing the Network and Local Authority locally and regionally at events and discussions about LGBTQ+ inclusion. Outside of the local authority they work freelance offering LGBTQ+ consultation for organisations and charities and working on projects around co-production.
Harry has a strong passion for supporting and empowering LGBTQ+ communities having run and supported numerous LGBTQ+ groups over the last decade across a variety of settings. These groups aims are to not only create safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ people accessing them but to also elevate their voice so that the groups become a space where those attending can influence decisions that impact them.
When not working, Harry enjoys being active, usually found running long distances (usually between 10-21km), bouldering or playing a variety of board games, card games and tabletop role-playing games.
