Claire Ashton

Claire is a committed LGBTQ+ ally & has been involved with The Brunswick Centre for over eight years as a service user & the parent of a transgender young person initially. This lived experience helps shape & inform the work Claire is involved in with The Brunswick Centre. She is keen to ensure that The Brunswick Centre thrives as a charity & is available for families & LGBTQ+ young people for many years to come, because she knows just how important they were for her & her family at a critical point in their lives. Claire is proud to be able to work as a Trustee to give something back.

In her working life Claire works as a technical project manager within the food industry. She is also involved in the ED&I agenda within the industry & tries to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ issues wherever possible.
