New Starters - Wren Boon

Meet Wren, our LGBTQ+ trainer!

Hi, I’m Wren (they/them) and I’m the new LGBTQ+ Trainer at The Brunswick Centre.

My background is working with LGBTQ+ youth, providing LGBTQ+ awareness workshops and training, and most recently teaching inclusive sex ed to young people around the country. I am proudly queer and trans, and I’m passionate about fighting for LGBTQ+ young people and challenging injustice.

I am really excited to join a small community organisation which is working to make life better for young LGBTQ+ people and communities. I’m keen to be a part of this by sharing knowledge, challenging misinformation and improving services through training people.

Outside of work I play music in two bands and I’m learning to grow food on an allotment that I share with my friend!
