Stella is a trustee and takes the lead on communications.
Previously, Stella has volunteered for the Red Cross and did this for over 15 years when she was young, while also working with HIV charities in Africa in the 1990s. Her background is in advertising and marketing communications. She is currently working as a marketing executive for a specialist equipment company in the health sector.
After losing friends and family to HIV and AIDS, Stella decided to join the Brunswick Centre to give her time and skills to help people living with HIV. Stella is passionate and dedicated to the important work of removing the stigma that affects people with HIV. She feels stigma and discrimination are among the foremost barriers to HIV prevention, treatment and care. She wants to see HIV positive people live happily without discrimination or being stigmatised.
Stella enjoys travelling, acting, dancing and listening to music in her spare time.
